Silver for Sauvignon Blanc in France for the Zvonko Bogdan Winery

At the Mondial Sauvignon (Concours Mondial du Sauvignon 2013), held on 27th April at the Chateau de Blois, on the banks of the Loire, Sauvignon Blanc 2012 of the Zvonko Bogdan Winery won the silver medal.

 

Fourth Mondiale Sauvignon was held on 27th April in the spectacular setting of the Palace "Château de Blois", located on the banks of the Loire. The competition aims to promote the worldwide wine made from Sauvignon Blanc varieties. At the competition 807 wines from 22 countries were presented. The jury consisted of winemakers, sommeliers, distributors, journalists, a total of 60 judges from 22 countries. Sauvignon Blanc 2012 is the only Serbian representative that received the medal for the quality.

"All the gold and silver medals we won so far for Sauvignon Blanc really mean a lot to us, but this one is special because we won it in the region from which the two most famous Sauvignon in the world originate" said Zlatko Živanić, the manager of the Winery.
